ABOUT

James has over 19 years of experience within the camera department, starting out as a camera assistant on major TV drama and feature films. Always with the passion of operating and steadicam, he absorbed the skills and knowledge whilst assisting and working alongside some of the best operators in the world.

James works in Feature Films, TV Drama, Commercials and Music Videos and is dedicated to make every shot the best and to put the Directors vision onto screen, be it collaborating with Director of Photography, designing complex shots or working under pressure on a fast paced music video, he always brings his professional knowledge and experience with him on every shoot.

James was professionally trained in Steadicam at Tiffen, Pinewood studios, England. Trained and experienced in Arri Trinity system.

He is a proud member of the ACO Association of Camera Operators.

James has a permanent base in Wiltshire and Surrey, being perfectly situated for jobs in London and the Home Counties, Bristol and the South West, as well as Cardiff and South Wales. In addition, James frequently works up and down the country, as well as internationally.
